- Gnostic Mass – Red Flame discussion – see Jon (first one went very well) 2pm to

- Try having discussions after Mass (and clean up!) instead of before Mass, around
one hour, ~5-6pm, this will allow for more people to attend, including the Mass
team.
2006 Events

- Invocation of Horus – 3/19/2006 – Cast is set exception two roles, Meeting TBD
in November – see Onyieh
- Heather volunteered for one of the roles
- Samhain ritual by Shellay
- This will be next year (is currently postponed)
- Andrei expressed a willingness to teach classes up in the North End, or to have
an open house event.
Long Term Events
- Andrei expressed interest in putting in a bid for the 2008 West Coast Conference
- This would be a weekend long event, held at a hotel with classes, seminars, etc.
- Will discuss further at the Officer’s meeting
General Notes
- Discussed planning of community ritual events
- Heather expressed interest in putting together a ritual
- In general, Onyieh would need to be notified at least two months in advance for
an official event
- Each person with a proposal may discuss their ideas with Onyieh
- Discussed Alombrados- NOLA camp-in-formation
- Rebecca had idea to donate Horizon’s duplicate library books after camp is
established
Lost Cleaning Agreement
- Rent is now $150 per day

Katrina Relief – what can we do?
- Non Profit policy – review
- What we can do as Horizon Oasis for other LBs or even Red Cross – raise funds
- Idea: have a Red Cross donation jar at Saturday’s Mass
- Idea: have a donation jar for the next few Masses at least
- Can rotate charities
- Need to collect a list of local charities
- Will re-evaluate the need to continue at the next Quarterly meeting
- Idea: have a clothing drive
- Idea: Courtney suggested collecting school supplies- specifically elementary
school supplies

- Disaster Relief Efforts – Orientations this week Tuesday through Saturday, Two
hours, 9am, 2pm and 6:30pm – first come first serve.
- Take online “Introduction to Disaster Services’ before attending orientation
- Two classes to be taken: Shelter Operations and DSHR (Disaster Services Human
Resources) Support
- Enough staff this week, will need help next week as the next waves of evacuees
get to WA.
